There’s an Item Box near the cable car, but otherwise you just need to head down the ramp to the security door and wait for them to open to the lab proper. Despite having Ada’s ID Wristband (Visitor), you’ll be unable to re-enter the cable car, leaving Ada alone as you journey on to the lab.
